Stars of Hope Fundraising Strategy

The fundamental aims of fundraising is obviously to raise the funds to maintain the vision of Stars of Hope, but it can also offer the opportunity to explore the following aspects:

Fundraising encourages new ways of thinking creatively. These processes can be formed as a group; as an individual; through research and gathering information or through presenting ideas of things that perhaps people would like the opportunity to explore and do for fun!

The floor can be opened up to anyone and can be developed as a large group organised event or as solo projects.

New ideas are explored and shared.

We also ask local people of all different categories what it is that they would like as a social activity. This way we can guarantee that we will be putting on a service that people will attend.

The ideas are then more formally developed into a proposal that is shared and passed by the board and other supporters.

A form is then written up and the plans are initiated and developed into action.

At the end of the event it is evaluated and reflected upon so that we can learn from mistakes and from the things that went well.
