Welcome to Stars of Hope

Stars of Hope is a community development project with the aim of helping people in Kenya and Cornwall, ultimately allowing them to help themselves. Started in 2003 by Ruth Wanjiru Kamau and Gem West, Stars of Hope currently; homes 22 vulnerable children in Kenya, while supporting the local community; works with young people in Cornwall; in the process of initiating a project in Bali.  Stars of Hope holds the status of UK limited company (05851768), registration with the kenyan social services as a recognised organisation and aims to achieve charitable status during 2008.
