SOH BALL 2010

Hi all, The ball this year is all set and ready to go. The date is 11th September and the theme is Jungle Juice!!! Tickets are on sale at Quintessential in Truro and Aggie Surf Shop in St Agnes. They are priced £18.50 and this includes parking and camping overnight.
The location is the same as the past 3 years: Newdowns Sand and Clay Pits, St Agnes, Cornwall.
The ball has raised the funds to run our centre in Bali for the past 2 years and in the first year it provided much needed funds for our centre in Kenya. This year the funds will go to run the centre in Bali for another whole year and so you party goers will be partying for a very good reason!
The music line up is as follows:
Sam Farnell and Frank Gane known as The Pleasure Principle DJs will be playing a set as will Alex Dinham , Dave Smeaton,Suisse Tony & Alexander also known as Rainy but Funky. The dj’s will be playing a mixture of world, reggae, soul, funk, boogie, house, breakbeat, minimal techno, electro and anything else that is good for the heart and soul and the dance floor!
‘A Good Vibe Means Happy People’ (the pleasure principle djs)
The bands playing are 'Auction for the Promise Club' who are an indie/rock band. The band know how to get the crowd moving by the magic voice of the stiletto heeled, sassy lead singer, the energetic skills of the drummer and the melodic plucking of the guitarist. The magnificent trio will have the roof blown off the marquee! 'The Bad Roaches' are a band who plays a wonderful mix of rockabilly, pshycabilly, garage trash, blues and jazz. The band will blow your socks off and you will find it irresistible to dance to their beats. The guys put on a real show and so entertainment will be included within the musical package.
All that is left to say is go get those tickets as we are still (and are remaining) a small set up and so tickets are already starting to fly out the doors... and get creative on the costumes..last year was amazing!!!
